On the 6th July 1957 the Quarry Men played at the Woolton Village fete in the field behind the grave yard at St Peters Church, Woolton.

In the crowd that afternoon was Paul McCartney..Paul waited around that day and in the evening when the Quarrymen played in the Church hall over the road Paul was Introduced to John Lennon for the first time by their mutual friend Ivan Vaughan...

6th July 2007....50 years on..the Quarrymen play a special 50th anniversary show in the same hall to recognise the occasion ...
Heres my pics from that Evening...Well done to everybody involved for putting on a great night.
